1. Prepare the game

    Launch Black Ops with Plutonium

    1. First, create an account at forum.plutonium.pw. Choose “Register” in the top-right corner. If you already have an account, choose “Login”.

Choose your nickname without a clan tag. Your forum username will be your player name in Plutonium. Ideally, use the same nickname as on Steam. Set your clan tag separately in the game; changing your nickname later requires changing your forum username.

    2. Once you have an account, download the launcher from plutonium.pw or download plutonium.exe directly.
    3. Open the downloaded launcher and sign in with your forum account. In the menu on the left, select T5 Multiplayer (Call of Duty: Black Ops).
    4. Click Game Settings (on first launch: SETUP) and select the folder where Call of Duty: Black Ops is installed. Confirm your folder selection.

The default Steam game location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops.

If your Steam library is on another drive, select the Black Ops folder in that library. Select the game folder, not an EXE file.

    5. Click the large button PLAY. Once Black Ops starts, open the server browser. You will see the Plutonium server list, including UNSZ.

  2. Choose your battlefield

    Find a UNSZ server

Search for “UNSZ” in the in-game server browser and choose Classic or DLC. Check their status on the server cards.

    01 / Classic

    [UNSZ] TACTICAL CROUCH ONLY

    Hardcore TDM · Base maps

    02 / DLC

    UNSZ - TACTICAL CROUCH DLC

Hardcore TDM · First Strike · Escalation · Annihilation

    Both servers use instant respawn.

  3. Rule number one

    Tactical Crouch: move while crouched

Do not run or walk upright. Move only while crouched. Running leads to warnings, then a kick, and finally a temporary ban.

Display the rules in game with !rules.

  4. Stats and your old account

    Link your Steam account

Plutonium gives you a new player ID. That is why our servers do not automatically recognise your old Steam player account.

If you played on our servers before, sign in on the website with the same Steam account you used back then and link your current Plutonium account to it. This lets us find your old player profile, stats and game history.

    • Players from 2012–2018 can recover their old account, rank, stats, and history.
    • A former admin rank returns only after approval by the owner.
    • You enter your password only on Steam; UNSZ receives only your SteamID.
    1. 1
      Open Profile

      Sign in through Steam.

    2. 2
      Show game code

      You will receive a one-time 6-character code.

    3. 3
      Enter the code in chat

!verify KOD works on both servers.

The code is valid for 15 minutes and can be used only once.

You can currently play without linking your accounts, but we record stats only for verified players.

In the future, linking your Plutonium account to Steam will be mandatory to join any of our servers.
