Server rules

The essentials

UNSZ servers are for players who want to follow Tactical Crouch rules. Respecting them matters more than your score or rank. Repeated violations lead to warnings, a kick, a temporary ban, or — in serious cases — a permanent ban.

1. Move while crouched

Walking or running upright is not allowed. You may stand when:

aiming down the sights of an approved assault rifle, light machine gun, or sniper rifle;
under direct fire;
escaping dogs, an RC-XD, or a grenade;
seeking cover from napalm, mortars, an attack helicopter, Chopper Gunner, or Gunship.

Approved while aiming: M16, Enfield, M14, Famas, Galil, AUG, FN FAL, AK47, Commando, G11, HK21, RPK, M60, Stoner63, Dragunov, WA2000, L96A1, and PSG1. With any other weapon, stay crouched while moving.

2. No dolphin diving or bunny hopping

Dolphin dives, bunny hopping, and unrealistic repeated jumps are not allowed.

3. Do not teamkill

Killing teammates is prohibited. If it happens accidentally, apologise. Repeated teamkills will be punished.

4. Do not camp the spawn

Camping is allowed outside the enemy spawn. Spawn camping and killing players as they respawn are prohibited.

5. Do not drop prone during a fight

Going prone in direct combat is not allowed. You may already be lying in position, but do not drop to the ground in front of an opponent to avoid being hit.

6. Use an acceptable nickname

Offensive, racist, or obscene names are prohibited. Names such as UNNAMED PLAYER, UNNAMED, and UNKNOWN PLAYER are also not allowed. Change your nickname before returning after a kick.

7. No cheating

Cheats and other forms of unfair play result in a permanent ban from UNSZ servers.

8. Equipment restrictions

Second Chance, China Lake, and under-barrel grenade launchers are prohibited. Rocket launchers and the Grim Reaper may be used only against aircraft. Valkyrie Rockets may also be used against players.

9. Respect other people

Racism, abuse directed at players or admins, and aggressive swearing are prohibited.

10. Take disputes to the forum

Follow the administrator’s decision during the game. If you disagree, explain the matter calmly on the forum — match chat is not the place for a prolonged argument.
